Pet Ride guide: from your first egg to Mythic pets
Everything you need to know to get rich in Pet Ride: where the eggs are, what hatches from them, how to use storms and when to rebirth. All numbers come straight from the game.
The basic loop
Ride out, grab an egg, bring it back to a nest on your ranch and hatch it. Put your best pets on the ranch: only ranch pets earn coins. Ride your fastest pet so you reach eggs before the other riders do. Eggs restock every 2.5 minutes, and every egg on the ground disappears after a while, so keep moving.

An egg from a biome hatches that biome’s own pets most of the time, so hunt in the biome whose pets you want. Carried eggs crack if you take too long to bring them home: the rarer the egg, the less time you have. Rainbow and Void eggs are invisible until your Hatch Luck reaches ×2 and ×5.

Storms and mutations
The weather changes every 75 seconds. When a storm starts, put up to two pets in the Storm Pen on your ranch: lightning strikes it every few seconds and can mutate the pets inside. A stronger mutation replaces a weaker one, never the other way round. A Starstorm gives much better odds for the top mutations.

Tip: the Storm Owl only hatches while a storm is on. Keep a ready egg in a nest and hatch it when the sky turns.
Upgrades worth buying first

Hatch Luck is the most important one early: it makes rarer pets more likely and unlocks the hidden Rainbow and Void eggs. Then add an Extra Nest so you can hatch two or three eggs at once.
Feeding and levels
Buy food at the stall and feed your pets. Each level adds +5% coins, up to level 30. The stall has limited stock and restocks on a timer.

Stealing and guarding eggs
Other riders can take eggs from your nests while you are away, and you can do the same to them: stand at their nest for a few seconds to grab the egg. Stay near your ranch to guard it. New riders are protected from raids until they have played 10 minutes and own 5 pets.
Rebirth
Rebirth resets your coins and Hatch Luck but keeps your pets. Every rebirth adds +1× to all your income for good and one more ranch slot, and your first rebirth also gives you a Magma Rhino.

Index and special pets
Every new species you hatch adds to your Index and pays a one-time coin reward. Discover 15 species and the Solar Phoenix comes to you. Every hatched pet also rolls its own speed and income, graded C to S+, so two pets of the same kind can differ.

- Ride your fastest pet and put your best earners on the ranch.
- Hatch Luck first, then an extra nest.
- Hunt in the biome whose pets you want.
- Always fill the Storm Pen when a storm starts.
- Claim the daily reward: day 7 gives a Lucky Egg.

What is the best egg in Pet Ride?
The Void Egg: it can hatch Legendary and Mythic pets, but you only see it once your Hatch Luck reaches ×5. Before that, Comet Eggs in the Comet Wastes are the best.
How do I get mutations?
Put pets in the Storm Pen on your ranch during a storm. Lightning can give them Static (×2), Blaze (×3), Frenzy (×4), Abyss (×10) or Ascended (×100) coins. Starstorms give better odds.
How do I get the Storm Owl?
The Storm Owl only hatches while a storm is on. Keep a ready egg in a nest and hatch it during the storm.
When should I rebirth?
As soon as you have the coins and the required pet. You keep your pets, the income bonus is permanent and your first rebirth also gives you a Magma Rhino.
